Academic System

Following the signing into law of Republic Act Republic Act No. 10533 by former President Benigno C. Aquino III, Baliti Integrated School began making preparations for the transition into the new system. Today, K-12 is fully implemented and the first batch of senior high school students have since pioneered the system.

In the Division of San Fernando, emphasis is placed on the following areas to ensure the holistic development of each learner:

  • Languages
  • Mathematics
  • Science
  • Values
  • Life skills
  • Love of country
  • Service to fellow men

As administrators and teachers, we go through extraordinary lengths to make sure that our students are exposed to as many learning opportunities as possible. We pride ourselves in putting each child in a position for long-term success not just in academics but in the greater challenges of adult life.

Student learning is assessed using a variety of methods. The most common are performance exams and written tests. Students are expected to meet minimum grade requirements to advance to the next level of studies.

Student development is measured not only in academics but also in his or her social and character development. Teachers provide both quantitative and qualitative feedback to help parents understand their child’s milestones as well as areas of improvement where parent intervention can produce positive results. Report cards are given at the end of each quarter to provide students and parents periodic feedback ion each child’s growth as a learner.

For students who exude a level of academic excellence beyond the normal rates, academic awards are bestowed by Baliti Integrated School. The following grade averages must be attained in order for a student to be included in the honor roll:

  • 98-100 – With Highest Honors
  • 95-97 – With High Honors
  • 90-94 – With Honors

For students who show exceptional accomplishments in individual subjects, performing arts and sports, special awards are given by the school.

Aside from lessons taught within the walls of its classrooms, Baliti Integrated School also values the kind of learning that is only attained through extra-curricular and co-curricular activities. Every year, the school works in partnership with the San Fernando Division Office and the local government to hold sports competitions, performances, civic works and other activities that will bolster a child’s development and preparation for young adulthood.
